Terms and privacy
Gremlin is a free demonstration of an AI video research project, offered as is, without accounts or payment.
What you may make
- Use only a photo and a clip you have the right to use.
- Only put a person in a video with their agreement; never a public figure, and never anyone under 18.
- Nothing sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, defamatory or illegal, and nothing meant to deceive people into thinking a real event happened.
Requests are checked automatically and refused when they break these rules. Every video carries an "AI-generated" notice in its file data; don't remove it or pass a video off as real.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your photo and clip are used only to make your video and are deleted when it finishes or fails.
- Finished videos are kept for 7 days so you can download them, then deleted. You can delete one sooner from its page.
- There are no accounts. A random cookie lets this browser see its own videos and nobody else's; clearing it hides them.
- Your network address is used only to count requests against the daily limits; those counts expire within two days. Server logs, without your files or descriptions, are kept for 7 days.
- To prepare a video, Gremlin picks the person and the character with a small model on its own servers. It then sends stills of your photo and video to Amazon Bedrock (the Amazon Nova Lite model, in Stockholm) to write a short scene description. That description is kept with the video's job for up to 30 days.
- Gremlin doesn't verify anyone's age or identity automatically; you confirm the consent above.
- Videos are made on rented GPUs (RunPod) and stored on Amazon Web Services in the EU. Nothing is used to train models or shared with anyone else.
Limits
To keep it free, each browser and network can make a few videos a day, the whole site has a daily limit, and the GPU budget is capped. When a limit is reached, Generate says so; try again tomorrow.
